Music Upload Guide
Learn how to upload your music to TRAXKR and start earning rewards from your audience.
Getting Started
Before uploading your first track, make sure you have:
- 1.A connected blockchain wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
- 2.Some TRAX tokens for transaction fees
- 3.Your music files in supported formats (MP3, WAV, FLAC)
- 4.Album artwork (recommended 3000x3000px minimum)
Step-by-Step Upload Process
Connect Your Wallet
Click the "Connect Wallet" button on the dashboard and select your preferred wallet provider. Approve the connection in your wallet.
Access Creator Dashboard
Navigate to the Creator Dashboard from the main menu. Click "Upload Music" to begin the upload process.
Fill Track Information
Enter your track title, artist name, genre, and description. These details will be visible to your audience.
Upload Audio File
Drag and drop your audio file or click to browse. TRAXKR supports MP3, WAV, and FLAC formats.
Add Artwork
Upload album artwork that represents your track. Minimum 1000x1000px, maximum 4000x4000px.
Set Pricing & Royalties
Configure the price for your track and royalty distribution percentages for collaborators.
Review & Publish
Review all information and click "Publish" to submit your track to the blockchain.
Best Practices
- ✓Use high-quality, mastered audio files for best results
- ✓Write detailed descriptions to help fans discover your music
- ✓Upload original artwork that reflects your music style
- ✓Include relevant metadata and tags for better discoverability
- ✓Ensure you have all necessary rights to the content
